Critical Thinking & Reasoning

The subject school never timetables: how to think clearly, argue properly and solve a problem you have not seen before.

If dance, music, art and sports can start at an early age, then why not Engineering, Medical or Business?

About this course

Every competitive examination a child will eventually sit — JEE, NEET, CAT, UPSC, banking, campus aptitude rounds — tests reasoning before it tests subject knowledge. Almost no school teaches it as a subject in its own right.

This course does. Verbal and non-verbal reasoning, analytical reasoning, decision structures, and the algorithmic thinking that underpins both mathematics and programming. Taught live, in small batches, with puzzles worked on a board rather than answers memorised from a key.

The side effect that parents notice first is in ordinary schoolwork: a child who can break a problem into steps stops freezing when a question is phrased unfamiliarly.

Who this is for

If two or more of these sound like your child, this course fits.

Students in Class 5 and above who are strong at school but stall on unfamiliar questions
Children preparing for Olympiads, NTSE-style tests or school aptitude rounds
Students who will eventually target JEE, NEET, CAT or civil services
Children who enjoy puzzles and are under-stretched by the syllabus
Students who need structure for how to approach a problem, not more practice papers

What your child will be able to do

1 Critical Thinking & Reasoning
2 Solve coding-decoding, series, blood relation and direction problems methodically
3 Handle seating arrangement and complex composite puzzles under time pressure
4 Work non-verbal reasoning: series, dice, mirror and water reflections, cubes and cuboids
5 Separate a statement from an assumption, a cause from an effect, and a conclusion from an opinion
6 Build and read decision trees and decision tables
7 Write an algorithm and design a flowchart for a problem before attempting to solve it

Parent questions

What is the fee for Critical Thinking & Reasoning?+

The Critical Thinking & Reasoning course is ₹15,000 for the full six months, or No-Cost EMI of ₹3,000 × 6 with no interest and no processing charge. That covers all live sessions, recordings for revision, assessments and the project work. There is no registration or material fee.

How much time does this take each week?+

Three live sessions a week over six months, scheduled after school hours or at weekends so it never clashes with school. Every session is recorded, so a missed class can be caught up before the next one.

Which class should a child start in?+

Class 5 upward. Younger children can join if they are comfortable reading independently; the mentor calibrates pace to the batch.

Is this exam coaching?+

No. It teaches the reasoning that competitive exams test, years before the exam. Children who later join coaching find the aptitude sections already familiar.

Will it help with school marks?+

Indirectly and often noticeably. Most marks lost in mathematics and science are lost to misreading the question or not knowing where to start, both of which this addresses.

Does my child need a computer?+

Not for most of the course. The algorithms and flowcharts unit uses a computer, and a laptop or desktop is helpful there.

How large are the batches?+

Small enough that every child is asked to explain their reasoning out loud in every session. Ask us the current batch size when you enquire.

What comes after this course?+

Coding for Kids and Science behind Data both build directly on it. Ask an advisor which suits your child next.

Can my child try a class before we pay?+

Yes. We run one free trial class so your child can sit in on a live session and you can both judge the teaching before committing. Message us on WhatsApp to book it.

Ask about batch timings and fees

Tell us your child’s class and we will suggest whether Critical Thinking & Reasoning is the right starting point.
