1. What cookies are
Cookies are small text files a website stores on your device. Similar technologies — local storage, pixels and SDKs — do comparable things, and this policy covers all of them.
2. Categories we use
Strictly necessary. Required for the site and student portal to function: session management, security, load balancing and remembering your cookie choices. These cannot be switched off without breaking the site.
Analytics. Google Analytics 4, which tells us which pages are read, how people arrive and where they drop off. Data is aggregated; we do not use it to identify individuals.
Advertising. Meta Pixel and Google Ads tags, which measure whether an advertisement led to an enquiry and let us avoid showing ads to people who have already enrolled. See our About Our Ads page.
Functional. Embedded video players and the WhatsApp click-to-chat integration, which may set their own cookies when you interact with them.
3. Typical lifespans
Session cookies expire when you close the browser.
Analytics cookies typically persist up to 24 months.
Advertising cookies typically persist up to 13 months.
Your cookie preference is stored for 12 months, after which we ask again.
4. Third parties that may set cookies
Google (Analytics, Ads, YouTube), Meta (Pixel), and our payment gateway during checkout. Each is governed by its own privacy policy, which we recommend reading if you want the detail on their processing.
5. How to control cookies
Use the cookie banner on your first visit to accept or refuse non-essential categories.
All major browsers let you block or delete cookies in settings, and offer a private browsing mode that discards them on close.
You can opt out of Google Analytics across all sites using Google’s browser add-on, and manage advertising personalisation in your Google and Meta account settings.
Blocking analytics and advertising cookies does not affect your ability to browse the site, submit an enquiry or attend a course.
6. Do Not Track
Browsers send Do Not Track signals inconsistently and there is no agreed standard for honouring them. We therefore rely on your cookie banner choice, which we do honour.
7. Changes
If we add or remove a cookie category we will update this page and, where required, ask for your consent again. The revision date above reflects the current version.
